For example, your brother texts you non-stop asking where you are, and that's just the beginning of it. She gets the impression that something's "off" about the two of them, and there are a quite a few situations that give her some idea, but she doesn't do anything about it(not that she can, anyways).īoth the father and brother have their fair share of hysterical moments. Their yandere-ness develops rather slowly and your character doesn't realize just how psychotic they are until later on. He's very doting on his family members, more specifically, you, but much like your brother, becomes incredibly jealous of other men you associate with (including your brother). Your step-dad, Hajime, has a rather easy-going personality and fulfills his role as a dad rather well. He's extremely protective of you (which seems normal, at first) and gets very jealous of other men you associate with. Your brother (Naohiro) has a very introverted personality, and rarely bothers to talk to anyone other than you. Basically, you're a high-school girl, who is never seen, (in other words, the whole game is from a first person perspective)who lives with her fraternal twin brother, Naohiro and step-dad, Hajime. I'm just going to give a short synopsis of the plot and characters.

I don't see the harm in spoiling the ending for anyone as this game is not exactly the easiest to come by I have my doubts that anyone on this site will get their hands on it anytime soon, which is annoying since I think everyone should be able to enjoy these games-another reason I dedicated my life to translation, but I digress. Its title? ヤンデレ天国 ~真誠学園 御家庭編~, or Yandere-Heaven: Jinsei Gakuen: Home Edition. I think I can say that this game is quite possibly the greatest dating game I've ever played in terms of plot and character development. I'm incredibly picky in that department as well.Īnyways, to get right to the point, as the title for this entry suggests, I have come across one such game that met all of the above requirements. Also, it doesn't hurt for them to be visually enticing, either. It's sad to say that many dating sims for girls have really flat, one-dimensional characters. Magic girl games generally have god-awful plots.ģ. I think their presence in a game makes it all the more suspenseful perhaps that's why. I really like these types as they provide me with a sort of morbid amusement that I can't really put my finger on. They are incredibly violent and unstable (both emotionally and mentally, naturally). For those who aren't familiar with the term, it basically refers to a person who has an unhealthy romantic obsession with another, and by "unhealthy", I mean that this person will do anything for their (unwilling) romantic interest, insofar as killing anyone who gets in their way. There needs to be at least one Yandere romance option. In fact, I have a defined list of standards that a game needs to meet for me to want to buy it. I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to these kinds of games. It probably comes as no surprise to anyone that I'm a sucker for dating sims (because they're easier than a real relationship), but I don't play just any kind.
